Kate is the immediate Past President of the ACIS and the current series editor of the Syracuse UP Irish line. She has published two monographs, Trauma and Recovery in the Twenty-first-Century Irish Novel and Mother Country: Politics of the Personal in the Fiction of Colm Tóibín, as well as two critical editions: Poor Women! by Norah Hoult and Carmilla: A Critical Edition by J. Sheridan LeFanu. Kate has published widely on Anglo-Irish women’s fiction and contemporary novels and is currently researching a new project on the nurturing parental body.
