18 years as full-time faculty, Division of English and Speech, culminating in appointment as Professor of English (retired August 2010).

Publications include PORTRAITS OF ARTISTS: WARRIORS IN THE NOVELS OF KENNEDY; articles on James Joyce, William Kennedy, Seamus Deane, Jennifer C. Cornell, Patrick O’Keeffe, Claire Keegan, Claire McGowan, and others.
