Timothy J. White completed a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 1990. His dissertation focused on the political consequences of culture change in the Irish context. White’s research continued to focus on various aspects of political culture for the next decade. For the last twenty years, White has continued to publish on politics in the Irish Republic as well as Northern Ireland. He has edited two books and has published numerous articles in Éire-Ireland, New Hibernia Review, Irish Political Studies, Irish Studies in International Affairs, Irish Journal of Sociology, and a number of other journals.
