Dr. Teresa Winterhalter is Dean of Liberal Arts at Georgia Gwinnett College, which she joined in the summer of 2020 and where she is helping to develop the college’s resources in Ethnomusicology. She joined this exciting campus, after 26 years as a Professor of English at Armstrong State University and Georgia Southern University. During her tenure there she held several administrative offices from Founding Director of Gender and Women’s Studies to Director of Faculty Development to Dean of the College of Liberal Arts at Armstrong and Associate Dean of Arts and Humanities at Georgia Southern. During her years in administration, she has also maintained an active teaching and research agenda, including leading study abroad trips to Ireland, receiving an NEH summer fellowship to study James Joyce at Trinity College, Dublin, and publishing on Joyce’s Ulysses and the intertextual connections between Joyce and Ian McEwan.
