My recent work attempts to read contemporary developments in American politics in the context a now evolving relationship between Ireland and America. That is to say, while I continue to write about nineteenth-century, modern, and modernist Irish literature, especially drama, I have turned most recently to Irish writing and culture of the past fifty years.
