Sharon Jones read Modern and Medieval Languages at Cambridge, and completed doctoral studies at Ulster University on Spanish writer Miguel de Unamuno. Sharon is Senior Lecturer in Education Studies (with Modern Languages) at Stranmillis University College Belfast, a college of Queen’s University, and an inaugural Fellow of the McGrath Institute Inklings Project, University of Notre Dame. Her teaching and research interests include education, language and literature. Sharon’s writing has featured in journals including Irish Studies Review, Journal of Inklings Studies, Modern & Contemporary France, and the Irish Times. Sharon chairs the British Educational Research Association’s (BERA) British Curriculum Forum; her current project is editing a book publication, to mark the 50th anniversary of BERA, entitled Curriculum in a Changing World 50 think pieces on education, policy, practice, innovation & inclusion.
