Rowan Robertson-Smith is a second-year masters student at New York University’s Glucksman Ireland House. Recent presentations include the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Conference and IASIL 2019 at Trinity College. Her essay, “Cycles of Suppression in Emergency Situations” can be found in the 2018 edition of Garm Lu. Her 2018 essay “Tattooed Irish Prisoners 1870” is electronically published on NYUirish.net as part of Dr. Marion R Casey’s project, “Resurrecting the Ethnic Village.” Her thesis examines the social economics of selling fresh produce in mid-19th Century New York City.
