Dr Patricia O’Beirne is a postdoctoral researcher working on the ‘The Price of Performance’ project, looking at economic sustainability for independent theatre companies in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. She completed her Doctoral Thesis as an Abbey Theatre Digital Archive Researcher (2018), with the O’Donoghue Drama, Theatre and Performance Centre in University of Galway, where she also completed a Masters in Drama and Theatre. Publications include work on feminist, political and working-class theatre in 1980s Ireland and on the Abbey Theatre Digitisation project (2015).
