My name is Niamh Meaney and I am a first-year PhD student at Mary Immaculate College (MIC) Limerick. I have studied in MIC for the past five years, completing a Bachelor’s Degree in English and History and a Master’s Degree in Modern English Literature. Researching female representation and subjectivity has been my passion since the beginning of my academic career, and I intend to continue on this path throughout the duration of my career.
