I completed graduate work at Central Washington University and received a PhD from Marquette University in 2014. My dissertation, “Illuminating the Irish Free State: Nationalism, National Identity, and the Promotion of the Shannon Hydroelectric Scheme,” is currently being revised for publication. Part of this work has been published in “A Formative Decade: Ireland in the 1920s,” and many of the chapters have been shared at ACIS conferences. In 2020, I presented my work on race and identity among workers on the Shannon Scheme for Europeana’s “Europe at Work” series.
