Lindsey Scott is a third-year English Ph.D. student at the University of Florida. She studies gender, disease, and identity in Irish and British literature. She published the paper “Defiance Behind a Pretty Face: The Deceptive Femininity of Irish Women in Punch” in The Macksey Journal as part of the 2020 Macksey Symposium.
