I am an undergraduate student at the University of Colorado Denver. I am a History major with an emphasis on Irish Studies. I have researched and presented on the demographics of the Irish in Colorado in the 1880s. As part of my research, I mapped out the most Irish towns and cities in the state of Colorado in 1880 and mapped the Irish on a Denver map that visually represented where the Irish lived in the city in 1880. I am also researching Irish labor radicalism in nineteenth century Colorado by investigating connections between Irish miners in Colorado and Irish miners in Pennsylvania involved in the secret society and labor organization know as the Molly Maguires.
