Julie Morrissy is an Irish poet, academic, critic, and activist. She was the first Poet-in-Residence at the National Library of Ireland from 2021-2022. Her awards include the National Endowment for the Humanities, Newman Fellowship in Creativity, MAKE Theatre Award, and the ‘Next Generation’ Artist Award, and Literature Bursary from the Arts Council of Ireland. Morrissy’s poem-artworks have been exhibited at TULCA Festival of Visual Arts, Project Arts Centre, Dublin, and the Museum of Literature Ireland.
