My research interests are mainly in modern and contemporary poetry and poetics. I have published on Seamus Heaney’s versions of Dante and Joyce’s use of advertising materials in Ulysses. My article on Micheal O’Siadhail’s poetry recently appeared in Sounding the Margins and another article on Irish poets’ elegies for Seamus Heaney was published in New Hibernia Review. I am working on a monograph on “Seamus Heaney and the Imprint of Translation.”

I have given ACIS conference papers on Irish poets such as Pat Boran, Dennis O’Driscoll, Theo Dorgan, and Bernard O’Donoghue.
