Recently retired Ph.D. in European History and Vice-President for Academic Affairs from Doane University in Nebraska, previously serving as Professor of History and Dean of Arts and Sciences the Vice-Provost at Drake University, and Vice-President for Academic Affairs at Loras College. Have taught courses on the Troubles in Northern Ireland since 1998. Currently developing a Reacting to the Past role-playing simulation, “Ending the Troubles: Religion, Nationalism, and the Search for Peace and Democracy in Northern Ireland, 1997-98” with Dr. Andrew J. Auge of Loras College.
