Jill Darley-Vanis’s research, conference presentations, and published works focus on assignment design, transfer theory, more equitable classroom practices, and the genesis of Irish literature. She has been published in the journal Teaching English in the Two-Year College (TETYC) and the books Transparent Design in Higher Education Teaching and Leadership and Teaching Accelerated & Corequisite Composition. She has presented for the Conference on College Composition and Communications (CCCC), for the First-Year Experience (FYE), for the Two-Year College Association (TYCA), for Washington state’s Assessment in Teaching and Learning (ATL) conference, for the Central Illinois Regional English Corequisite Institute, and for the Modern Languages Association. Jill has served on the board for the journal TETYC and currently serves as Chair for the MLA’s Higher Education Practices (HEP) Board for Two-Year Colleges.
