I am PhD candidate at Queen’s University Belfast, researching the history of tourist development in the North of Ireland, 1900-1970. I explore themes of identity, economic change, and placemaking in contested landscapes, with particular focus on leisure and culture. I have published one article in the Journal of Tourism History: ”Come to Ulster’: the imagery and activities of the Ulster Tourist Development Association in Northern Ireland 1923–1939′ (2021).
