Heather Dunlop is currently studying Irish Studies at a postgraduate level at NYU. Dunlop received a BA in English Literature with first class honors at the University of Brighton, UK. At Brighton University, she carried out an undergraduate dissertation and extended research focusing on Frank O’Hara’s poetry and Abstract Expressionist painting in midcentury New York City. Further, Dunlop chose to continue studying literature, specifically that of Irish and Irish American poets and novelists. She is currently undergoing research toward a Masters thesis in Irish Book Arts and Independent Publishing practices.
