Research Interests Eóin Ó Cuinneagáin, PhD candidate currently based at the Centre for Concurrences in Colonial and Postcolonial Studies, Linnaeus University, Sweden, where he is a PhD candidate in English literature. He holds a bachelor's degree (hons) in sociology from Trinity College Dublin, a master's degree (cum laude) in sociology and a master's degree in comparative cultural analysis from the University of Amsterdam. His PhD dissertation is concerned with aesthetics, the performance of song and Gaelic forms of knowledge making as a decolonial critical intervention into the coloniality of perception in Ireland.
