Eddie is a doctoral student in the Anthropology Department at the CUNY Graduate Center. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and a master’s in Anthropology from the Graduate Center at CUNY. His current research project looks at rural and agricultural politics in Northern Ireland after Brexit. Specifically, he is looking at how transforming public policy, bureaucracy, and funding structures impacted rural development projects and political sovereignty in Northern Ireland. I also conduct work in the everyday lives of Irish borderland farmers.
