I am from Abbeyside, Co. Waterford and currently residing in Lemybrien, Co. Waterford. I completed my BA in English and History in UCC in 2012 before working as a Team Lead in an outsourcing centre for several years. In 2015. I returned to education and undertook an MA in Literature at Ulster University Coleraine. Following a year’s break, I returned to UCC to begin a PhD. Throughout this period, I was able to attend conferences around Ireland and the UK in regard to Irish studies, with a particular emphasis on Irish history and literature of the 18th-20th centuries. I have been published in the Women’s History Network journal. Currently, I am managing a support department in UCC but am continuing to research independently outside of this role.
