Dustin Gann is a native Kansan whose research examines the relationship between national culture and regional identity. He is especially interested in the processes and individuals which have shaped Midwestern communities during the late 19th and 20th centuries. Gann currently serves as an Associate Professor of History and Honors Program Coordinator at Midland University in Fremont, Nebraska.
