Deirdre is a third-year PhD student in English Research at King’s College London. Her research project is funded by the UK Arts & Humanities Research Council and examines how methods of feminist storytelling in contemporary women’s cultural production from the North of Ireland offer a productive re-reading of the North’s complex past and present. She is a council member for the British Association of Irish Studies.
