Brendon Floyd is a Ph.D. student at the University of Missouri and the Monroe Fellow in Civil War History at the Kinder Institute. His research interests lay in the Early American Republic, Irish America, United Irishmen activity in the United States, and print culture. I have presented on such topics as John Daly Burk, Irish Identity and Editors in the United States, and Irish Republican Discourse in the Print Culture of the Early Republic.
