Bradley Kadel holds a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin and is an Associate Professor of History, Fayetteville State University, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He is the author most recently of “Drink and Culture in Nineteenth Century Ireland” (New York/London: IB Tauris, 2015). His research focuses on nineteenth-century Irish social and cultural history.
