Bonnie Roos is Department Head of English, Philosophy, and Modern Languages at West Texas A&M University. Though her publications are wide-ranging and usually comparative in terms of topic, she often publishes on the writings of James Joyce from a historicist perspective. Her research engages such Irish topics such as the 1798 Rebellion, The Great Famine, Daniel O’Connell, Young Ireland, and Politicized News.
