aunde is a Pacific Northwest artist with Irish roots. For the past 13 years her home has been an island in the Salish Sea, traditional land of the Coast Salish. Her work is informed by the ever-changing realms of land, sea, and sky in both her current home and her ancestral home in Ireland.
aunde is an Interdisciplinary Arts MFA student concentrating in Decolonial Arts Praxis. Her work explores the relationships between places, people, and plants, and their interconnectedness as reflections of identity, embodiments of culture, and keepers of stories. Limina was awarded the 2021 Allied Arts’ MFA Scholarship.
