PhD candidate at Trinity College Dublin under the supervision of Professor of Medieval Insular and Irish History Seán Duffy. My thesis is on the depiction of the Norse in Middle Irish dynastic propaganda. Previously I have worked on the role of Gaels in Icelandic settlement literature, and I am also working on Irish Sea Region ethnicities and genders. I have a BA from Rutgers, a MA from UConn, and a Certificate from UCCork.
