Publications include _A Sense of Shock: The Impact of Impressionism on British and Irish Writing_ (Oxford UP, 2011), which discusses Bowen, Moore, and Wilde, among others, and _Modernism and the Theater of Censorship_ (Oxford UP, 1996), which has a chapter on James Joyce. My new book, _Modernism and the Aristocracy: Monsters of English Privilege_ (Oxford UP, 2023), features extensive discussion of Bowen, among others.
