We look forward to welcoming you to San José, California on 7-10 June, 2023. Bring your shorts and sunglasses!
Travel
For a fantastic resource center, check out the city’s official travel guide at Visit San José California.
The main airport serving the city is the San José Mineta International Airport (SJC) but you might have more options if you fly into San Francisco Airport (SFO) and travel down to San José via taxi/ride-share, the Monterey Airbus, or the Caltrain.
Accommodations
As the conference is being held on the campus of San José State University during the summer, we were able to secure a limited number of low-cost, single- and double-occupancy dorms for ACIS conference attendees to rent during the conference.
The dorms are in Campus Village 2 and will cost $50 per person per night for a double room, and $69 per person per night for a single room (linen included). Please note that all dorms include shared bathroom/shower and common area facilities.
If you are planning on coming to ACIS 2023 and would like to book a dorm room, please send an email to acis2023sj@gmail.com indicating your interest. Be sure to include “Dorm Lodging Request” in the subject line of your email. The rooms will be assigned, subject to availability, in the order that requests are received.
If you would prefer to stay in one of San José’s many downtown hotels, you may use the links below to find one that suits your needs. Unfortunately, we were unable to secure special conference rates for any of these hotels.
The good news is that most of them are less than one mile from the ACIS conference rooms and thus within walking distance or a very short taxi ride. But you should contact the hotels directly for details on how best to reach them from the airport.
If you have additional questions relating to travel or accommodation, please email acis2023sj@gmail.com
