With everything going on in academics, the world, and everything else, ACIS has always been a place for community. This year’s theme will be community.
ACIS West has been a family for a lot of people navigating the often lonely world of academics. This is by far the most welcoming and supportive academic community I’ve had the pleasure of being with, and I’d like to do everything I can to expand on this and grow our group.
An academic conference like this isn’t just a good way to test your studies, go over your material, or other things—it’s a good way to network when you’re looking for work or even just looking for support.
We want as many people as possible to join, so for as long as possible, we will strive to cover the admission costs for students.
Please submit paper proposals on any aspect of Irish studies by September 10.
