University of St. Thomas William J. Flynn Center for Irish Studies in Houston is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time, term faculty member to teach Irish history and other interdisciplinary courses.

Educational Prerequisites: A conferred PhD in History, which may intersect with other areas of Irish Studies, International Studies, European history, political science, or a related field, is required by the contract start date of August 1, 2023. Houston, Texas is the fourth largest city in the US and UST is located in a diverse and urban environment in the heart of the Museum District.
