The International Summer School in Irish Studies has been running for over 15 years, and continues to run in association with our successful Fulbright Commission Summer Institute.

The Summer School is delivered by world leading scholars from a range of disciplines including history and heritage, literature, Irish language, politics, anthropology, film and theatre. Students are also afforded the opportunity to follow their specific interests with a choice of options: Heritage and History, or Literature and Language.

Our participants are diverse and include students and professionals as well as those who simply have a passion for Irish history and culture.

Our varied programme also include a series of field trips to sites across Northern Ireland, including trips to the historic Titanic shipyards and the rugged Antrim coastline.

The closing date for applications is 28th April 2017
