ACIS Logo DECOMPHIST

DECOMPHIST is intended to foster collaboration between K-12 teachers and academics. Rather than promoting individual work, collaborative projects must benefit both K-12 teachers and academics. This should be a time of cooperation during which peers discuss lesson plans, ways to engage students in critically analyzing historical resources, and opportunities to advance history as a field within the community.
Collaboration between K-12 teachers and academics can take various forms, ranging from coauthored articles, talks to students, workshops, and panels at educational conferences. The attached spreadsheet seeks to become the platform to connect K-12 teachers and academics. It can be consulted anytime and it will not be monitored by the group facilitator. If you are interested in partnering with a colleague for a project, inviting a scholar for a talk at your school, or engaging in any form of cooperation, please click here and fill out the attached spreadsheet. You should include your full name, location, email address, topics of interest, and whether you are willing to present in person and/or remotely.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact the group facilitator, Emmanuel Destenay ([email protected])
