To coincide with DruidShakespeare at Lincoln Center Festival 2015, Irish and American experts will discuss the relationship between Shakespeare and Ireland, exploring how Druid Theatre Company’s approach to Shakespeare’s history plays should be seen in the context of Irish history and culture. The afternoon of lectures and panels includes onstage interviews with Tony Award–winning director Garry Hynes, company member Derbhle Crotty, and eminent Irish playwright and DruidShakespeare adapter Mark O’Rowe.
